A huge thank you...

Sorry it has taken a while to get round to this final(ish!) post on the blog. Michelle and I would like to say a very big thank you for all your support, creativity and friendship over the last ten years. We would also like to say a HUGE thank you for our very generous gifts - and that's why this is not the final post as we will have to post photos of our London adventures and trip to the top of the Shard!

This is two blog posts combined into one as I have piccies of ACMC awards and final team challenge workshop (with extra Prosecco - thanks Sue and Julie!) and the Crafternoon Tea (also with Prosecco!) In fact in the workshop photos I can only spot one photo without evidence of Prosecco - other than the pictures of the challenge cards. See if you can spot it!

So here goes:

Final workshop and Prosecco party photos:

Oh and we did make some cards too! The challenge was to go back to basics and create a Christmas card, a nature themed card, a baby/child card and a thank you card.

Rachael was asked to judge the cards but just couldn't choose between the groups so you were all winners on the night!!

At our Crafternoon Tea Party and final farewell to ACMC, it was great to catch up with members both past and present. We really enjoyed it and hope you did too.

Crafternoon Tea photos:

Oh - Prosecco crept in here too!

Finally we know we will see some of you at various local events and will no doubt bump into others at Craft shows from time to time. Do keep in touch and if ever you need to borrow anything we are only a phone call or email away!

Best wishes for 2017 and beyond
Claire and Michelle

We're all little angels at Card Club!

Our November workshop at the Scout Hut involved making bags, tags and boxes and also ribbon angels. We were all quite taken with these as they were quite quick to make and can be used to decorate presents as well as decorations - see below:

Normal(ish) service resumed!

Well done Michelle on your blogging! Wouldn't let me access it from Menorca and even then I wouldn't have been able to do photos (apart from my holiday snaps and didn't want to bore you all!) Still Michelle has forwarded me the photos from the last workshop so will make up for it in this post. Looks like you had fun with your glitter paste and stencils, Christmas papers and embellishments...

And not forgetting your card club selfie that you sent me:

This is what we were doing while you were crafting - Cheers!

Oh and a couple more holiday snaps - look who lived in a rosemary bush in our garden:

We called him Herman as that's what type of tortoise he is. And of course the girls couldn't resist a bit of sand sculpture of him:

That's it now - got my holiday snaps in anyway! Won't bore you any further! See you next week now due to the date change.
